October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Pink is the official color. The community holds a BC charity fundraiser in game called Pink Day in LA. The developers have been supporting the effort with dye.

I'm assuming they added tradeable dropped pink dye because people used last year's gesture (Rosa's dyes were non-tradeable) as a way to profit.

I checked the information and i have a intestering information, dropped pynk is tradeable instead the pink of "Rosa salvitas" this is not tradeable

Besides being profitable, I wouldn't be surprised if users were being scammed and having their runes/insignias stolen.

I was going to say that too. Kamadan is loaded with scammers running pink dye services, so maybe Arena Net thought it safer to have it drop.

I noticed that it will sell for about 250g on the trader too, but there are people camping it and trying to sell them for 5k each. I couldn't help but laugh at the greed.

That's not greed. Remember when they added white and brown dye? People were trying (successfully, at times) to get 30k - 40k for both, the first few days, anyway.

But that was normal dye only... only available via drops or dye-trader.

Now we have 2 types: untradeable dye with a fixed price (100g each), which you can put in storage. And tradeable pink dye (which i havent seen *yet* at a dye trader).

I just bought 1 stack of non-tradeable pink dye and have put it in storage... maybe useful for in the future.

Well, the color is the same and in the buy pink dye you can read" its for cancer day..." the dropped is the same as normal dye.

Does anyone know if you can dye stuff with a Rosa's pink dye and a dropped pink dye? To get the brighter pink color

Both are the same color so, is the same as putting two dyes in 1 stuff
